So, I recently popped into Gray Mackenzie & Partners (GMP) at the World Trade Center in Abu Dhabi. You know that feeling when you walk into a liquor store and it’s like a kid in a candy store? Yep, that was me.

Nestled in a bustling shopping mall, GMP is tucked away in the lower ground level, shop number 17. Imagine a treasure trove of wines, beers, and spirits just waiting to be explored. It’s quite a nice mix. Prices? Pretty darn good, plus they throw in weekly deals that are hard to resist. Who doesn’t love a good discount?

On my visit, the staff was super friendly, always a plus in my book. I heard some chatter about a lady named Lily—sounds like she knows her stuff and makes the experience a breeze. Others have thrown some not-so-great reviews in the mix, mentioning they close a bit earlier than advertised. A little inconsistency there, I guess. Plus, a couple of folks raised concerns about stock levels, especially with craft beers. Makes you wonder how they keep that supply chain running.

The store’s open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM, which is decent. You could swing by after work for a quick pick-up. Oh, and if you’re worried about accessibility, they’ve got wheelchair access sorted out too.
