Feedback on Slope Restaurant. (Hospitality and Gastronomy) in Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi Emirate)
Overview
So, I recently dropped by Slope Restaurant in Abu Dhabi—it’s on that Hazaa Bin Zayed The First street. You know, that cute spot that kinda whispers “burgers and pasta” as if they’re best buds? 🤔
Walking in, the vibe was chill, almost cozy, though it could use a little music or something. I mean, silence is golden, but not during dinner, right? Anyway, the staff was, let’s say, a mixed bag. Some were friendly, like they actually cared, while others seemed a bit lost, suitable for a sitcom scene.
One thing that stood out? Their burgers! I tried the street beef burger, and while the beef was tender, I wished that bun was toasted—you know, just enough to make it sing, instead of being floppy. It felt like a missed opportunity for a perfect bite!
And, wow! The Caesar salad? A total hit. Crisp lettuce and tangy dressing that made me wonder why I don’t eat salad more often! 🍽️
Prices felt reasonable too, which is a win in my book. They seem to nail lunchtime crowd and nice dinners. Just a heads up: they do have takeout if you’re in a hurry.
Overall, Slope might not be on the top of every foodie’s list, but it’s worth a shot if you’re around. Just maybe don’t go expecting a Michelin star experience. You might leave happy… or just indifferent, but hey, that’s dining!
